How does the AI support ROI calculation work?
The calculator multiplies expected AI-resolved conversations by average handling time and loaded hourly cost. It then subtracts the selected HelpYap plan cost and separately models a help desk that charges both a seat price and a per-resolution fee.
It does not assume every contained conversation is successful. Use your verified resolution rate, including reopened conversations and customer feedback, rather than a vendor's best-case deflection number.
Which assumptions matter most?
Resolution quality and average handling time move the result more than almost anything else. A short FAQ answer saves less labor than a ten-minute troubleshooting conversation, and an answer that reopens later has not saved the full handling time.
