How does per-seat pricing work?
A seat is a teammate in your inbox. Your bill is seats × your plan's seat price, and that's it. Every seat also adds to your monthly AI conversation pool (300 on Starter, 1,000 on Pro, 2,500 on Business), so limits grow with your team. Add or remove seats anytime from the billing page — additions prorate, removals apply at renewal.
Do you charge per AI resolution?
No. AI resolutions are the product, not a metered add-on. Intercom charges $0.99 per Fin outcome and Front charges ~$0.89 per Autopilot resolution on top of seats — on HelpYap, every AI conversation in your pool is included in the seat price. The only usage-based item anywhere is the optional top-tier AI add-on on Business ($0.10/conversation), and it's off by default.
What happens if I go over my conversation pool?
The widget keeps working, we don't cut your customers off mid-question. We'll nudge you to add a seat or upgrade when you're consistently over, and you can change plans at any time from the billing page.
How does the free trial work?
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial with full access to that plan's features. No credit card required to start. Cancel anytime during the trial and you owe nothing.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Anytime, self-serve, from the billing page. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades at the end of your billing period. No contracts, no sales call to leave.
What does Enterprise include?

How is this so much cheaper than Intercom?
Same per-seat model, without the AI tax. Intercom starts at $29/seat and then bills $0.99 for every Fin resolution — the AI fee usually ends up several times the seat bill.
